The vast majority of metal appliances are subject to strict polishing treatment before leaving the factory, and the lifting chain is no exception. The surface of our common lifting chain is round and smooth, but the raw materials of the lifting chain are not like this, but only after polishing treatment.
Lifting Chain
Polishing refers to a processing method that uses mechanical, chemical or electrochemical effects to reduce the surface roughness of the workpiece to obtain a bright and flat surface. It refers to the surface modification of the workpiece by using polishing tools, abrasive particles or other polishing media.
Most of the polishing methods used for lifting chains are chemical polishing. The chemical polishing of lifting chain can be used as the pretreatment process of protective decorative electroplating, or as the pretreatment process of chemical film forming, such as phosphating and bluing. If it is directly applied without electroplating or chemical film forming, it can be sprayed with amino varnish or acrylic varnish, which has better protective and decorative effect after drying. The corrosion resistance and protection will be further improved if the anti rust and passivating aqueous solution is dipped before painting.
This shows the importance of polishing the lifting chain. The polished lifting chain can not only greatly improve the appearance, but also reduce the wear between the chain links, and improve the corrosion resistance of the lifting chain.
