The National Day of the People's Republic of China is a festival established to commemorate the founding of the People's Republic of China. The celebration date is set on October 1 every year.
On October 1, 1949, the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China was held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing.
Following are some celebrate activities for this holiday:
1. A grand military parade is held every ten years

2. flag raising ceremony
The National Day flag-raising ceremony was held in Tiananmen Square at 6 am. For this important ceremony, the National Flag Guard departed from the Tiananmen Gate.
Anyone can participate in the ceremony, including the public and tourists.

3. Anniversary event
During the festival, Communist Party leaders also lay flowers at the Monument to the People's Heroes to commemorate the martyrs who died for the liberation of China.
4. Traveling
People will choose to travel with family or friends during this long holiday to relax and strengthen their relationship with each other.
